No notification and can't access pending payment

I was sent money for rent ($200) and it shows on their end that the payment is pending. I never received any kind of notification that the payment was sent, nor am I able to see any pending balance in my account summary. It was suggested that I may still have to accept the payment, but as far as I can tell, there's nowhere for me to do this. The payment was sent using my phone number because I had not yet verified my email. I have since verified my email but nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong?
