A lot of the time I find the refund goes right back onto the original transaction, it does not make a new transaction. If you paid with a credit card it would go back onto the credit card. Go to the original transaction and click on it to open it and you might see in the upper left of that transaction that an amount of money was refunded to credit card ending is #### or something similar.
