"PayPal experienced a brief technical issue yesterday during a planned system update which resulted in some consumers being unable to see a transaction in their account history after it had processed. And, some merchants may not have received immediate payment.  
 
The technical issue has been fixed and PayPal is working to have these transactions reflected accurately for both consumers and merchants.

I know this has been a frustrating issue and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  I want to assure you this was immediately escalated and is being worked on at a high priority.  We don't have an exact ETA but our engineers are working to fix the transactions affected by this issue as soon as possible.

Q. Why I cannot see the money in my balance? I am sure that I received a payment because I received the email confirmation.  

A system change last night has resulted in an issue whereby instant bank funded transactions are not appearing on account balances. Once you received the email confirming your payment the transaction did complete but it will only appear in the account balance once this issue is resolved.

 

Q. Why does the system not allow me to withdraw the payment that I already received?

You will be able to withdraw the funds once the transaction appears on your account balance.

 

Q. I received a payment, but I cannot see the money in my balance. Should I send the parcel?

Until the payments shows as completed in your account activity log we would advise you not to send out the parcel. We expect this issue to be resolved soon therefore this shouldn't cause any major delay to your parcel send.

@PayPal_Frank @Payoal_Olivia I used message center and they told me to call PayPal and it's confusing called 3 times. All they said was to wait 3 days for refund. But all my other 7 unauthorized charges got refunded immediately... I called and called and emailed and it's very confusing. I don't know why my paypal has negative - $54.xx It doesn't even show in activity... This is for transaction id 1W2892934Y1284814 And paypal case PP-005-549-912-999 If a mod can help please check the claim. I Won that claim 3 weeks ago.. Yet paypal is giving me negative balance AND trying to take $54 out of my bank.. My bank account is FROZEN due to other problems and investigations. Paypal keeps trying to take money out of my bank but my bank is frozen it won't let you and if you keep doing that my bank will remain negative.. Please if someone can help even a mod I will appreciate it. This may be an error I don't know but every time I call they tell me the same confusing thing "sir you need to wait 3 days and you will be refunded" I told them "it's been 3 weeks and you are not refunding me you are trying to take the $54" And they deny it and keep saying sir all I know is you must wait 3 days etx etc.. What exactly is going on? No mention of why there's negative in my activity in my account. I haven't purchased anything except the disputes I won. I won all unauthorized. This is the only charge that is saying negative even though in claims it says I WON I even got email saying I got refunded.. So please help. My bank is frozen and it will stay that way until investigation is finished.. Please if you remove money after my account is un frozen it will go back to negative and freeze again and I may have to pay overdraft fees. This is not my fault so please I want a detailed explanation from a MOD

I am also issuses with balance not changing after printing shipping labels and a purchase.   Is there is a system problem when should we expect this to be resolved?

Be more specific what's your PayPal balance? If u printed labels your bank might have been charged check your bank eedeeeyawt

Be specific it shows 0 because u have no money..... Put money in it by withdrawal from ur bank hello

I'm having this problem for the very first time this week. Ive been with PayPal for years with 0 problems! My friend sent me money and he showed me a screenshot showing everything was right on his end. But on my end nothing. No email. No money. Nothing. No pending. No freezing. Nothing at all. Is the money in PayPal limbo or what??? My email and account are verified and the next day another friend sent me money and I got it ASAP. Am I supposed to wait or something? And I emailed PayPal 3 times and still no help or answers.
