Known Issue: Received payments not appearing in balance

"PayPal experienced a brief technical issue yesterday during a planned system update which resulted in some consumers being unable to see a transaction in their account history after it had processed. And, some merchants may not have received immediate payment.  
 
The technical issue has been fixed and PayPal is working to have these transactions reflected accurately for both consumers and merchants.

I know this has been a frustrating issue and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  I want to assure you this was immediately escalated and is being worked on at a high priority.  We don't have an exact ETA but our engineers are working to fix the transactions affected by this issue as soon as possible.

Q. Why I cannot see the money in my balance? I am sure that I received a payment because I received the email confirmation.  

A system change last night has resulted in an issue whereby instant bank funded transactions are not appearing on account balances. Once you received the email confirming your payment the transaction did complete but it will only appear in the account balance once this issue is resolved.

 

Q. Why does the system not allow me to withdraw the payment that I already received?

You will be able to withdraw the funds once the transaction appears on your account balance.

 

Q. I received a payment, but I cannot see the money in my balance. Should I send the parcel?

Until the payments shows as completed in your account activity log we would advise you not to send out the parcel. We expect this issue to be resolved soon therefore this shouldn't cause any major delay to your parcel send.

I had this occur as well on 9/7. My father sent money to my account, like many times before. it shows completed, but I still have zero balance.

 

Also note, I did not receive an email or alert for this payment as well. I only learned about it after my Father said he sent it 30 minutes prior and I checked activity manually.

 

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Are you kidding me??? I was told yesterday to send the item so I did. Now you're saying not to ship the items? I'm out $182 and this needs to be fixed!

I agree. Been waiting over 24+, well over that, and still nothing. They did say they fixed the issue and are getting to resolving the balance issue... I'll believe it when I see it.

I log on my account to see my balance which should be $3.26 but it isn't even there it says $0.00 what happened to my money?

On Sept 7, 2016, I recieved a payment. It shows up that I recieved it in my account summary, activity, and the "money in" section. However, when I check my balance, it's $0.00. I already called, was told it would be fixed within 24 hours, not the case. I emailed several times just to get a long automated message with links for self help. The email said if it doesn't help, to reply. So I did. Several times with no answer. Has anyone else had this problem, or know anything about it? Paypal doesn't seem to be responding.

check all the topics created here, this is a known issue , transactions made yesterday are not adding up to the paypal balance. no estimated time frame of when the issue will be fixed yet.

I've escalated my issue, and while I know everyone is upset, I am especially annoyed, and now, stand to lose my home. I need to access funds immediately and it's been over 24 hours. Marcus assisted me yesterday, he was great, but this is out of hand. I need to pay rent immediately. My money is in paypal. I've been assured 3 times it was going to show up, and I tell my landlord, and then this happen. Again and again. I understand something happened but don't publish that the issue is resolved until it truly is.

Sadly, I'm in the same position. I have a few hundred missing in payments and though I've called to report it, as you all have found out, it seems we just have to wait.

This is really unbelievable.

I would like to thank all PP support people for being awesome, I am sure they are geting a lot of angry calls right now.
