Is there such a thing as a Ebay Invoice and you pay by ebay gift cards?

I was going to buy a quad through Craigslist from an out of state lady and she wants me to pay an ebay invoice for it by way of ebay gift cards. Is this a valid ebay service?

how is she going to produce Ebay invoice if it is not an Ebay listing?

she can create a Paypal invoice and you pay her .

not sure if Paypal will accept Ebay gftcard?

why does she care if you use Ebay gift card or not?
