I sent money to a friend and did not use "Friends and Family." I thought the friend would receive the full amount I sent, not 97% of the amount, an exorbitant fee. I did not do enough research. I had read that the transaction would be costless, but what that meant was costless "to me." We have much less expensive ways of transferring the funds. Is there something we can do together to reverse this transaction and start over? Or can we change it to a "Friends and Family" transaction and get a lower fee? The transaction has cleared, my friend received 97% of what I sent.
