I need help of my situation that Im buying a merchandise from them. I sent the person the money which I made a mistake and filed out for "Pay for goods" where they said not to, so I wanted to refund the transaction and redo it as "send money through friends" while having the option of "buying merch" protection.

The problem is, we contacted each other and they said I gotten my money back already.
I did not get the money in my PayPal account or bank, nor did it say it was refused or given back to me, but regarded the money sent as "complete".
How do I get my money back?

NEVER use the friends / family option to buy items, its against paypal rules and can get your account suspended AND it means you will have NO buyer protection.

If the seller has not sent the item then open a dispute for non receipt of item  >>

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. We'll review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Near the bottom of the page, under 'More about your account', click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Centre.
3.Click Dispute a Transaction.
4.Select the button beside the transaction you want to dispute, then click Continue.
5.Select ‘Item dispute’, click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

They told me to send it that way and I was very reluctant to send it through friends. I did put it up as a dispute, but they said I already got the money.
There was no signs of refund, so do I just contact PayPal to just refund my money?
Also i want to ask for their info to where I contact them, Thank you very much.

If a seller asks you to pay for an item via friends / family then just do not do that as you lose your buyer protection.

Did you get an email to say a refund was issued?

If so then how did you FUND the paypal payment to the seller in the first place, was it bank transfer or card??

I payed by card. I just reported it as a case that the seller has to contact Paypal to cancel it(which they didnt), now I just want to contact Paypal directly to just resolve the case
