How long does it take for a refund to post to my credit card?

I bought a game yesterday and was having issues with it before it even installed, I decided to just return it, it wasn't worth the trouble at that point. I had to call up Microsoft about it but after waiting almost an hour to talk to a human, I managed to get them to return my money. I have a little E-mail from them saying it was returned and everything. Over on the Paypal side, they too show the money as refunded and the transaction should be complete. But when I go to my credit card online, there are just the charges that are still pending, including the original one for the game. I wanted to wait a day before posting anything because I know sometimes banks take a while to update the accounts, but I'm still not seeing anything and if there's a problem, I'd rather tackle it sooner than later. The only thing that has me worried is that Paypal is claiming the refund is complete, but as far as I can see, its not. How long does it normally take for a refund to appear on your credit card again? Thank you!

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c (Paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine, the last one taking 4 days).
