How does recipientget funds?

I imagine this is elementary, but-

I sent funds to a family member on 7/10 and she doesn't know how to access the funds. My transfer, via my checking account was successful. I imagine she has to create an account and link her bank account. Is this the case? She says she keeps getting texts at the to which I snet the funds.

She needs to create an account and follow instructions to complete verification.  She then needs to add her cell phone number to the account.

Just be aware that she may not be able to do anything with the money until she links a bank account.
