How do I report someone?

I got scammed and the money was sent through friends and family so I can't get it back. (No need to tell me I'm stupid and I'm dumb, I already know) How can I go and report them? Cause there's gotta be a way to report them or something.

How much was the payment for? Unfortunately, there isn't much PayPal is going to be able to do for you in this sort of situation. They are very clear about the policy with Friends and Family payments. There is no buyer protection, and there is no refund option on those.

What you could do (if it's really worth it to you) is gather as much evidence as possible about the person you sent the payment to. Using the email, see if you can find them online and track down where they live, or at least what city. Then get a police report and an attorney to help you go after them.
