How do I cancel an order placed with a merchant?

I tried to place an order on a website and checkout with paypal but for whatever reason paypal wasn't working. Now I have two pending purchases that say "Order placed with merchant". How can I cancel these?

Hey gazerockerx,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble placing your order. You'll need to reach out to the merchant in this case, as they can cancel the order on their end within the PayPal account. Otherwise, they can capture it any time within the next 30 days. If they don't, it will automatically expire and any held or authorized funds will be released back to you. I hope this helps!
