I sent $5 to my friend and i got a confirmation email saying everything went through and it says it was good and everything, but on her end...the money I sent says it's on a hold. Why is that? And is there any way I can fix that?

Have friend refund money, you resend money as Friends & Family payment.

Have your friend check the email message she received from PayPal when you sent the payment. The email message should indicate why the payment is being held.
