Email confirming return, No money in account?

I received an email from eBay stating the amount that I was refunded and stated that it is available in my paypal account. I logged into my paypal account to see a still $0 balance. Does it take a few days? It's been over 24 hours since I relieved the email.

Hello @MoMass63! How are you?

I apologize for the late response. It can take up to 10 business days after the refund has been initiated. If it takes more than that, then that can either mean your account is restricted or there's a technical problem.

You can view your restrictions by doing the following:

1. Login to your PayPal.com account and go to the bottom of the page.
2. Click on "See how much you can send with PayPal" and the next page will direct you to your information on your account limitations.

Let me know if there aren't any account limitations. If there are account limitations, you can remove the limitations by doing the following:

Before you start
If your account is limited, it means that you won’t be able to do certain things with your PayPal account. For example, you might not be able to send or withdraw money. Learn more about limitations at https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-know-if-my-paypal-account-is-limited-faq1758/1.

Usually, PayPal asks you to complete one or more tasks to remove your account limitation. For your convenience, I have listed the steps to remove your account limitations below under "What to do."

If you received an email stating that your account is limited, but don't see any steps in the Resolution Center, you may have received a fake email. Forward it, do not copy and paste, to spoof@paypal.com and PayPal will investigate it for you. After you send them the email, delete it from your inbox. If you clicked on any links or downloaded any attachments within the suspicious email or website, log in to your account at PayPal.com and look for any unwanted transactions or other unwanted information. It’s also a good idea to change your password.

What to do

1. Click Resolve a problem in PayPal's Resolution Center near the botton of the page. The link should be under the "More about your account" section on the left and above "See how much you can send with PayPal."
2. Click Go to Account Limitations.
3. Click Resolve beside each step.

If all the steps are completed and your account remains limited, it means one of 2 things:

1. PayPal has sent you an email asking for more information, or
2. PayPal is reviewing your case, and they will email you with their decision.

Please note that, for most limitations, customer service specialists can't remove your limitation over the phone. Please wait for them to contact you. If they have asked you to upload additional information, you can upload documents in the Resolution Center. Information on how to do that is located at https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-provide-additional-information-or-evidence-to-he....

If you completed the required steps and PayPal asks you for more information by email, please respond as soon as possible so they can resolve your case. If they've asked for additional proof of your identity from you, please review the kind of documentation that PayPal accepts at https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/what-kind-of-documentation-can-i-provide-to-prove-my-iden....
