Client Requested Refund by Mistake

My client informed me that they accidentally disputed a credit card charge for my services when she meant to select a different charge on her credit card statement. I have responded to Resolution Center that this was the case. Looks like it will be a long wait until the issue is resolved. Meanwhile, Paypal is instructing me to return the funds to Paypal, which I will do. My question: do the client and I need to create a new transaction?

If he contacts his c.c. issuer he can cancel the case.
