Charges include no merchant transaction detail

Hi,

We use our checking account to make purchases from vendors using paypal as their payment processor. 

Our bank statement only shows (INST XFER  PAYPAL PAYPALSI77        [Date]).

Is there any way to view more information about the purchase anywhere? 

If we used our paypal account to make purchases from these vendors, would our paypal account show more detail about the transaction?

It should have his Paypal ID,but as to what you purchased,you have to go to his site and look for your order

or if you have kept a copy of order email from him
