Can I split my payment for in-store purchases? For example, I don't have enough funds on my PayPal account, can I pay the remainder with cash or my debit card?

It depends on how the payment gateway is set up for the merchant.  Ask the cashier at time of purchase.

Thanks, the store would be Dollar General. I would like to know beforehand as the cashiers aren't very  friendly and treat customers asking for help very rude. I have to use this store as otherwise I have to travel 20 miles down to Walmart for small errands. And I would like to use my PayPal funds for that purpose. This way I can use my funds immediately and don't have to wait 2 - 3 days for the money to land into my bank. Of course, if nobody in the community  can help, I got to ask those rude cashiers at Dollar General 😒
