I trying to link my bank account to my PayPal account, I receive the message that the bank is "disabled." My bank account is active, so why would my bank be considered "disabled" before any transactions have even been made or the link set up?
Thanks,
Lia

PayPal has disabled access to your bank.
Perhaps you had a PayPal dispute with the bank at some time.
Perhaps the bank is not suitable for PayPal.
If you need details you need to phone PayPal support. If it is disabled for a security reason, you will not be told details and an agent would not be able to fix it.

No, I don't have and never have had a dispute with PayPal. My bank is a Net based one, not a traditional brick & mortar bank, but it was good enlough for the IRS to deposit my yearly tax refund into it, so no idea why PayPal would be pickier than the IRS. If, as you say, an agent wouldn't be able to tell me details or fix the problem, though, I see no real reason to pursue the issue. I guess I'll just have to search for another company to send and receive money with.
