Hi,
I studied one year in France and I have my bank account in that country. This year I returned to my homecountry (Venezuela) and I opened my paypal here. Now, I want to link my French account to my paypal account but it say that I can only link an U.S. bank account. What I need to do in this case? close my current paypal account?

he said he is back in his home country (Venezuela),so I assume he is not US citizen or resident.
so here is the problem, what if he does link his US bank account to his Venezuelan Paypal account ,then one day Paypal wants his SS number and he doe snot have one?
It is not that easy anymore for foreigners to open a bank account in USA ,may be students can with some kind of visa,I dont know.

He is not an ex-pat and he does not say he has a US bank account.

Agreed but you said in an earlier post that as an ex-pat he could link his US bank account, he is NOT an US ex-pat.

No, he is saying that in his country a U.S bank account is the only option to add to his countries account, which is correct.

Hi,
Thank you for your answers! although it's a bit unfortunate not to be able to associate my French account
I'm not a U.S ex-pat, but the option offered by paypal is the one I mentioned (I don't know why): use an U.S bank account (that I do not have).
Best regards,
S.
