Authorization Cancelled By Seller But No Refund Received On Card

I Paid To A Seller The Payment Got Deducted From My Card (Debit) But Next Day Seller Cancelled The Payment Authorization And It Shows Cancelled In PayPal Also But I Didn't Received My Refund On Card Yet It Has Been 15 Day or So Now

Hello @Sadab! How are you doing?

If you live in the USA, then it will be sent to the same card (it will be sent to your PayPal balance if the refund can't be applied to your card) up to 30 days - not business days. However, if the refund was initiated before your original payment cleared, then it will be credited to your PayPal balance within 3 to 5 business days.


If you live outside of the USA, then you can follow these steps:

  1. Login to your PayPal account.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click on "Help & Contact."
  3. On the next page, search for "I want a refund. How do refunds work?" and the information will be available there.
