Account "isn't verified", yet was successfully verified last week

I just now tried to accept a payment, but PayPal prompted me with a message saying that I needed to verify my account first. However, I verified my account last week via the method that sent two amounts to my back account which I then reported back to PayPal. I got a message saying that I was verified and then successfully accepted payments made earlier to me. I also received a confirmation email notifying me that my account was verified. I was able to accept payments that I would otherwise not be able to had I not verified my bank account information. So why is PayPal now requesting that I verify my account as if I have never done it? Is there a way to fix this or will I keep having to verify my account every week...?
