Account limitations not lifted - how to retrieve money?

Hi,

My account is been set to limited status and I can't use it of course. It's been over 1 month and I haven't heard anything regarding the requests to lift the limitation and review the documents provided. I read somewhere that this means the account will be deactivated, but I can't find the information online once again.

What do I do in that case? How do I retrieve the money I have in the account?

Your best bet is to phone customer services for an update as to whether you can resolve the limitation or if its permanent.

If its permanent then paypal normally holds the funds for 180 days in case of a buyer dispute.

Sorry if I'm a bit slow in understanding this. But this is the part I'm really not clear about: how do I withdraw the money if my account is disabled, and I'm not allowed to add a card or bank account from my country, and not allowed to transfer money to anyone else?

When i click on your username it shows your country as U.S.

In the U.S you can add a bank account after 180 days and withdraw the funds.

I was in the USA when I created the account, but I moved now, and I don't have a US bank account or a US credit card

Then if you didn't withdraw the funds before you left then you won't be able to now unfortunately.

Can I add a friend's account and ask them to withdraw?
