4 hours on the phone and no help.

I called the PayPal customer service 4 times today asking about a missing payment from an item I sold on EBay (on eBay it says payment was received and being processed by paypal) and all four associates gave me no answers and proceeded to “transfer” me to either their manager or a specialty agent. Problem is I spent the entire day on hold, and even when I left a callback number with one associate for the manager—received no call. How can this company repeatedly stifle my attempts to speak to someone who can help. I’m left without my money, and no one who can help. How can I speak to a manager?
