I have been having some serious problems with my account. First I have not used it for years and have tried to close it anf they will not let me.

Then I get emails telling me that someone tried to use my account in India and that I needed to verify my account, so I went to paypal and logged in to my account and saw where someone else had changed my phone number in my account and then

 tried to use it to buy something in India, but the account was linked to a closed bank account so it was denied.

But now I can't get into my account at all. I just want it closed permanetly.

Contact customer services direct and they should be able to help you.

I can't even get a number for customer service.

click on the "contact" link at the bottom of the page and go from there for contact options.

I have tried the contact link and I have tried the call us link and the email link and it only takes me back to the login page and then I log in again and it tells me that I have to verify my account and it just keeps up a cycle and I never get anywhere

Theres an option to click on that says

Contact us without logging in

so use that one??
