Why is it that when we refund customers money for Visa, MasterCard and Discover, we receive a corresponding refund of the transaction fee for that refund.
However, when an American Express transaction is partly or fully refunded, we get none of the transaction fee returned to us.
This appears inherently dishonest and an unjust and unearned revenue stream for American Express.
