Text said received money, but acct has nothing

Did your friend send it to your paypal registered email address and not another email address that you own?

Did your friend send it the same currency as you receive?

What does it say next to the transaction in your friends account, is it unclaimed and if so with or without a cancel option OR completed?

Does the payment show up in your paypal transaction history?.

It's in our normal currency usd. She used my phone # for transfer. I'll ask her what it says. I just figured out that if it says unclaimed, she can cancel it. 🙂

Not always as it depends on the reason for it being unclaimed and the email address it was sent to.

It can be unclaimed with or without a cancel option.
