States payment from member received via paypal, but when I log into paypal there is no payment.

Is it an international transaction?

Have you had a paypal email to say you were paid?

Was it ebay or private transaction?

Does the transaction show in your paypal transaction history on your paypal summary page?

Is it an international transaction? No, both of us in usa, me in NJ, him in California.

Have you had a paypal email to say you were paid?  Yes.  States from buyer via paypal.

Was it ebay or private transaction?  Yes

Does the transaction show in your paypal transaction history on your paypal summary page?  No.

OK then first can you do this   >>>

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

There is no mistake, in fact I sold something last week with no problem.

Just found in eBay it states awaiting payment.  But as I said I received an email from paypal stating I received payment.
