Sending a note to seller during payment

I added a note to the seller during the check out process but the seller never got it.  I had to contact the seller directly after i paid and the seller was not too pleased about that. This happened to me twice already. Any thoughts?

I have been experiencing this same problem for the last few days, difference is I am using an iPad and suspect it to be because of a recent update. Does anyone have a fix for this on the 'mobile site'? I really need this function to work, please help?
