Sending PayPal payment without an Invoice?

I am buying an item from another member in a Facebook Group, postage paid included. I did not get a PayPal Invoice from the Seller. Instead they just sent me their PayPal email. Can I send payment to them and be protected as a Buyer, if I send the the payment and describe in detail what it is for and that postage is included? Please answer quickly. Thanks!

According to PayPal's Proection for Buyers documentation the Send Money tab is covered as long as you choose "goods" during payment.
