Paypal won't respond to emails

I received a payment from a friend last week. The payment hasn't hit my account yet and when I search by transaction it's not there. What can I do to receive my funds? I've tried emailing paypal twice and the first time got an automated response back. The second email wasn't even answered.

1. Double check your friend did not make a spelling mistake entering your email address that led the payment astray.

2. Also ask them what it says next to the transaction in THEIR paypal account.

a. Unclaimed.

b. Unclaimed with a cancel option.

c. Completed.
