I had someone send money through paypal for a pair of diamond earrings. I received an email saying that a payment has been made to me so I checked my paypal summary and nothing is showing. I read the forum on how to tell if an email is fake and there are a few red flags that hopefully someone with experience can clear up.
1) the email notifying I received a payment is coming from his personal email address
2) the email addresses me by my email not my first and last name
3) the email is stating that I can buy shipping quickly online and the link directs you to ebay even though paypal and ebay are separate now
Anyone have any information on these transactions?
