Payflow advanced with hosted pages - getting detailed error messages

Hello

I have been following the instructions on this page to set up a test environment for Payflow Advanced.

I am able to successfully get a Security Token.  When I use the security token in my iframe I get the hosted paypal page for making a payment.  I then enter the credit card info.  I've tried using the credit card in the instructions and also I've used the credit card from my sandbox account.

No matter what I do it just redirects to my error page which I specified in Paypal Manager. 

1) why is it not working in test mode?

2) how can I get more details about what the error is?
