Hello,
I've received the money from business PayPal account (amount USD1,100).
The commission fee is about 5.2%! I've never heard about the PayPal to PayPal money transfer fee to be so high!
I've contacted the support and they sent me a description of commission fee withholded:
Transaction Amount: $1,100.00 USD
Description Percentage Fixed Amount Amount
Base Fee 3.40% $0.30 USD $37.70 USD
ROW XB Corridor 1.30% $14.30 USD
CrossBorder Adj 0.50% $5.50 USD
Total Fee Charged $57.50 USD
The base fee 3.4% is already a cross-border fee for transferring the money between countries. Those two fees are something new, I've never heard yet and can't find those fees mentioned in terms.
Could anybody explain what are those fees and why are they applied and not mentioned in terms/fees pages?
