This is the second time now I have sent a payment with what I thought was my credit card, only to find out PayPal used my checking account instead.
I have lost out on over $1500 in Visa Points and have also had to rearrange my pay process to instead have my business put money into my checking account as opposed to simply reimbursing my personal Visa.
I am enraged and annoyed that even after twice setting my credit card to default that PayPal used my checking account instead.
And the option to change it is tiny on the payment page.
WTF?

One way to make sure you use a credit card is to make the purchase without using your PayPal account. Log out of PayPal and use a different browser and pay with a credit card.
