This week I made several purchases with PayPal and I was charged 1 extra $ for each. I checked the previous topics about this and I understand that it is a temporary charge for card verification. But I still have a question, will my bank recognize it as a temporary charge? If the charge is not voided until the time when I have to pay the bill, will the bank ask me to pay for it too?

Many website and merchants will do what's called a "dollar authorization." This means that they check to see that your account is valid, but they only hold $1.00 until they ship the merchandise. Then, they'll charge the full amount. Bottom line, the extra $1.00 is not included with the total amount.
