Pausing a Recurring Payment?

I have a recurring payment that occurs monthly, and I'm in the situation where I have overpaid by one month. Is there a way I can pause my recurring payment for one month? Or do I have to cancel and then re-do my recurring payment later?

You would have to cancel and start again.
