Hello fellow paypal community members, I recently just sold an Item on eBay. I am familiar with Paypal and have collected money multiple times using it.
But one quick question.
Why does my Original transaction read Gross : 253.15 - Fee: 7.64 Net 245.51 USD with no minus
While my Related Transaction reads Gross : -245.51 USD and Net: -245.51 USD With a minus? Isn't it usually the other way? By the way my funds aren't yet available if that helps.
Thank you!

Hi @connieg111,
That's a great question!
The Original Transaction is where the funds initially enter your PayPal account.
The Related Transaction is where the funds are placed on hold. (See Funds Availability)
Once the funds become available in your balance, there will be an additional Related Transaction showing +.
🙂
I hope this helps clarify!
