My refund was added to my paypal credit

I paid for an item and the money come from my girlfriends checking , yet when I got refunded it was added to my paypal credit . $2037.41 was my credit after I got my refund and when I bought another item the money come out of checking. But know my credit is $2000.00 not $2037.41. Where did my $ 37.41 go?

Go click on any reason transactions and see if they were funded from your balance ie refunded payment.
