Money sent as gift not received by other person?

Hi,

I've sent 12 eur  to someone as a gift who has an unverified account, the status is Complete but that person is saying that he didn't received the money (after 1 hour)? Is it possible? How can i know that he really say the truth or not? Is possible to get a refund from paypal?

PS: the money were send from my paypal funds not from a credit card or something

Can take up to 24 hours to process I believe.

But double check the email addy you sent to with the receiver and make sure there were no spelling mistakes.

Also you sent euro's is that the currency the receiver can accept on their paypal account.

I've checked, the email is correct and also he can accept money. I'll wait 24 hours in this case.
