Known Issue: Payments not appearing on sender or receiver's account

Update:  Engineers are reporting the issue with transaction delays was fixed late last night (around 2am ET).  Typically a transaction may take a few minutes to appear in the account activity and we are back to that normal behavior.  Thanks for your patience during this issue.

Hi everyone,

Our engineers are aware of an issue right now where payments are not immediately appearing in the account activity for both senders and recipients.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and our engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible.

This issue appears to be causing a delay in when the payments appear.  The transaction is initiated, it's just not appearing on the website for up to 4-5 hours in some cases (the time appears to be random).

I will update this post when we have more information and to let everyone know when the fix has been implemented.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

- Frank

I am wondering whether one of my clients is being true or not.

TG is stating he can not pay my invoice or send money via my "Requested Money" with a "American Express" credit card.

Can you please help me out?

Maybe its true...my Paypall seems to be messed up for a couple off days now. When trying to pay orders its now asking me to add a credit card...wtf. This while i have an apparoved and validated bankaccount for direct debit linked to my account ?

Maybe someone at Paypal can check what is going on ?  This seems to happen on random sites : 3dhubs, Banggood.

Account: x-3009 Status: Confirmed Direct debit instruction Accepted

Our website shows a sale (payment) last night but it's not showing in our activity nor search. After 45 minutes on hold with PP, I gave up. A different sale (payment) came in after this one so how can I finsd out what's up with the one that I don't have a confirmation for without spending the whole morning on hold?

Sent PP an email and got a generic one back.

Seriously - is there any one who has had this issue resolved so that the funds PayPal took from customer's credit card actually makes it into the seller's account?

Incredible that there's not been a fix or even a response to this thread in weeks. I'd move to Apple Pay but Apple Inc are as unresponsive and closed as Paypal seem to be.

WHERE'S MY PAYMENT??!! (yes, I'm shouting!)
