 I made a purchase on a risky site using paypal for the transaction without using the account, since I made one I couldn't find the transaction to open a dispute. Any suggestions?

If you made a payment as a PayPal guest, the transaction will only appear on the recipient's PayPal account.  However, you should have a record of the transaction with your credit or debit card account so file a dispute with them.

You don't.  You can't add a transcation which you did not make on the account.

Phone PayPal customer service for help on the dispute for the item as guest, however, filing  dispute with your credit card is probably better.
