I was really excited that the price was within my PayPal budget (just under $30) but APPARENTLY I can't get it with that balance alone without being forced to add a **bleep** credit/debit card- WHICH I DON'T EVEN HAVE. PayPal is all I have. No bank, no cards. It's not even over my PayPal balance budget. It's several dollars UNDER. Isn't there a way around this? Or am I going to have to borrow someone's credit card and risk them getting charged for a simple game purchase I could've gotten myself with my balance?
I would not risk linking another persons card, you may find your account limited and their card frozen and unable to be removed on YOUR paypal account.
Paypal like you to have a back up payment source to fund your payments (even if they are using your balance), AND to verify your account.
Suggest you either buy it elsewhere or get a card of your own.
