Email down - payment not received...

My email provider has been down for about 3 days now. Just sold an item by 'BIN' but money hasn't gone into my account. Is it still ok to send the item as I'm assuming with me not getting any emails nothing has been updated, although my ebay account has shown the sale? Will everything update as normal once my email provider is up and running again...or do you think I should wait?

Email notice is not important.
What matters is how the transaction shows up in your PayPal account.
What does the transcation details show?

Thanks for getting back. I think I've got to the bottom of my problem. I don't think I ticked the 'immediate payment' box for buy it now and with me having email problems I had thought it was that. Sorry for wasting your time - haven't listed anything on ebay for a while and had forgotten all the little nuances of listing.
