Ebay Gift Card active but system x problem over a week now?

I've had a problem over a week now trying to pay for my things. The $50 Ebay card let me purchase $20 of it, $30 still shows active but will not go through it comes off with a system problem??? How long is this going to be down for gift cards? My certificates are working fine, Just the Ebay Gift Card is stuck?

I have just run into the same problem and mine is acknowledged by EBay on the statement but not accepting the gift certificate balance through paypal.  Yes, I too, got a system error X1768.

Has yours been resolved yet?
