I've recently joined Paypal and wanted to make a purchase but when I was going to add my debit card, it told me that the card I was adding had already been added to too many accounts.
The thing is, I have never had a Paypal account before this one and never have I connected my card to any accounts.
Although, I once made a purchase via Paypal without an account and now I cannot..
The only reason you would be getting that message is if you had created an account during the checkout when you used the card previously. I would recommend using the "forgot my password" link at the PayPal login to see if you can figure out what your credentials are and get logged in.
