I sold an item (on eBay) and hoped to be paid through PayPal. Unfortunately, I needed to update my PayPal and the payment went unclaimed. My PayPal is now updated. The buyer however has tried to pay through PayPal again, but has not been able to. How should the buyer pay?

If the payment status is unclaimed and the cancel link is active, the buyer can cancel the first transaction. If the buyer can't cancel the transaction, PayPal will return the funds to the buyer after 30 days.
If the buyer still can pay, then your end is not setup properly. Unfortunately as this is a member to member help group, we can't look at user account details to figure out what the issue is.
