Change Payment Preference

I have an existing balance in my paypal account, but want the funds for an uncoming purchase to be taken from the credit card linked to my account.

Is this possible, or do existing funds always get used first?

If they are in the correct currency and you do not use pay after delivery then generally they would be used first.

However if you don't want to use them you could withdraw them first to your bank account and then your card would be used.
