Buying without a bank account

I am using GiftHulk, a company that gives you virtual credit for watching advertisements/completing offers etc. They allow you to change your virtual credits into paypal money once you get enough. I'm wondering, once I get 25$ deposited into my paypal account, can I use it to purchase things without a bank account? I know under normal circumstances, one must have an associated bank account, but if I already have a balance than I'm just simply spending money I already have right?

You may be able to for a while but at some stage paypal may ask you to link a back up card to your paypal account.
