when the paypal payment is clicked thei message appears "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later."

thjis code ahs work foe at least 2 years .. how do i fix the

I can't include the paypal code ... as well I amd not storing the code at paypal.

You haven't explained things clearly. But from my experience, you either have to use another payment method (bank account or card) or you may need to verify your PayPal account by adding a bank account to it. 

In addition, you can try to send the payment later in 1/2 hours. If none of this works, then you would need to contact Paypal to help you.

P.S. check if your account has been limited, by viewing your resolution center status. Limitation prevents payments from occurring.
