I am completely new to pay pal, i am selling a purse to a buyer in the states, i am in the process of creating an invoice but do i want to keep it us currency or change it to canadian dollars in the option for currency

Hi @leelee1234,

One thing I would point out with deciding on a currency when invoicing is that if you request the funds in CAD, then you will receive the funds in CAD and would not have to do a currency conversion on your end. That would be processed on the buyer's side.

If you request the funds in USD, you would receive the funds in USD and you would be responsible for the currency conversion to CAD if you decided to withdraw the funds to a bank account.

I'm not sure if this helps with your decision, but it's something to consider.
