I recently had a recurring annual payment withdrawn from my paypal account (I did not remember setting the payment up to be recurring, but that was a year ago). However, it withdrew the money from a bank account that I have shut down, but forgot to remove from paypal (I don't use paypal often at all). My account summary says that the transaction has been completed, but when I tried to delete the no-longer-existing bank account, I was told that a transaction was still pending. I would think that it would recognize the bank account no longer existed before saying the transaction was completedin my summary, and then switch over to my still-active bank account. I am hoping that this switch can happen, and not get hit with a fee, since it seems weird to me that paypal wouldn't recognize the account no longer existed.
